Tuesday, November 14th and Coinbase have added XRP to its Coinbase Card line. XRP is the 5th coin added to the COinbase Visa card. Coinbase wasn’t done, they have all announced the addition of BAT, REP, XLM and ZRX. This brings the number of supported cryptocurrency coins to nine, with the original four being BTC, ETH, BCH and LTC.

According to JD Millwood, Head of Marketing at Coinbase UK:

Since launching earlier this year, Coinbase Card has helped tens of thousands of users spend their crypto as easily as the money in their bank accounts. With Christmas approaching, the demand for Coinbase Card will be will higher than ever.

The Coinbase Card allows you to spend funds from your cryptocurrency wallets available on Coinbase.  Is this going to help increase the price of XRP, hell no but this is a  big deal for the believers who think they will never cash out of there crypto.  Now instead of cashing out to fiat, they can just spend their crypto directly.

Here is a list of the newly supported countries that the Coinbase VISA card is available in:

Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Hungary, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Poland, Romania, and Sweden. With these additions, the card is available in all of the countries in the European Union (and Iceland) with the exception of Czech Republic and Malta.
